Women Have It So Easy on Tinder
I was talking to a girl on Tinder whom I accidentally swiped on but seemed easy to talk to and asked how many matches she had — she answered 270.
This honestly shocked me as trying to be nice as possible, she's not at all attractive in the sense she's on the large side and not the best face.
While I'm not claiming to be a 10/10, I'm decent looking with an interesting bio and barely get any matches at all. We're talking 1 a week.
And she admittedly said I'm more physically attractive than her so I'm just confused why girls have it so easy with online dating, while good looking guys will find it difficult.
She could very well be lying about the number of matches she's got.
Girls have it easy cos they can sit back and do nothing. Guys have it harder cos we have to initiate, send the first message, drive the conversation forward. If it doesn't go well a girl can just move to the next in her list of matches whereas a guy will have to wait a while for the next one. The best looking x% of guys and girls will get the majority of matches whereas the rest of us sit through long dry spells and have to settle for really ordinary or off-putting people.

Because there a fewer of them and a lot of thirsty men?
Lots of horny guys and clowns 🤡, or guys in a relationship already. Its no wonder they can be so picky, especially when dating market is alot harder.

I know that's true and most guys will swipe right on literally anything.
But when 2/10 girls get about 10x more matches than a 6/10 guy, that doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Because the number of single guys is rising, or at least its becoming more common.
Or to put it simply supply out weights demand, too much supply people will get picky.

I've seen her matches and she had around 300, plus 99+ hidden ones in the Tinder Gold section.
Like I know guys have to initiate everything but I'm mainly on about the initial swiping; a 2/10 girl seems to get much more luck than a 6/10 guy which just seems nonsensical.
i don't think good looking guys on Tinder have it difficult. i thought the common myth was the top 20% get 80% of the girls. 
ordinary looking girls have it easier than ordinary looking guys because guys aren't that picky. the fact that she got all those swipes proves that. i imagine a lot of guys swipe so much because they're desperate to have sex so girls seemingly 'have it easier'. and because of those guys, girls tend to be more protective/take less risk. this is all speculation as i've never tried online dating.

I feel like girls are more picky with who they swipe for than guys
Most guys do just swipe for anyone but they wont necessarily message those people. We don't have it easier either... do you have any idea how BORING gues are on tinder and how annoying it is to find yet another guy wanting casual sex.

I'm mainly on about the 6/10, 7/10 guys who would do well in the normal world but on Tinder it's incredibly difficult.
I mean if you're a 7/10, you're more likely to match someone who's a 3/10 than someone of a similar standard to you.

Anonymous #2 seems to have it on point. High supply, girls get picky and can match with whoever they want. This girl might have 300 matches but I highly doubt she replies to all of them. Girls have very high standards and won't pursue guys any less than 9/10 whereas guys have to lower their standards a lot to get anywhere on Tinder.

That's the thing, in the real world it's not like that but guess Tinder is very superficial.
It almost seems as if attractive guys seem to lower their standards while unattractive girls seem to be able to rate themselves much higher on there?

if you guys raised your standards they wouldn't have it easier.
in real life you have other things that can 'sell' you, eg your winning personality, your companionship, your career. a Tinder profile can't express those things. i think online dating isn't healthy for most users tbh
